Fishing For the First time!

Very excited about his 1st fishing trip

This weekend, we decided to take Houston fishing for the very first time. He has been asking to go fishing alot lately, so we took advantage of the beautiful weather and went. We went to Johnson Park in Collierville and he did great! We caught 8 catfish in all. His favorite part of the trip was throwing the rod and reel into the water and reeling the string back in. At one point, he threw it out and lost his bait, but I didn't tell him his bait fell off. Next thing I know, the hook was hung in my hair. Luckily, I had my hair in a bun. It was so much fun seeing the excitement on his face throughout the night. We are defiantly going to start taking him fishing more often. Especially since we have a stocked pond in our front yard.
