This weekend has been full of parties and fun! Tonight we finally carved our pumpkin. I thought we should get a move on it, since TOMORROW is Halloween.

A Little Classroom Fun

This week was Red Ribbon Week. Teachers decorated the doors for contests and we had fun dress up days every day this week. Monday was PJ day, Tue was Dress-up for class pic, Wed was Cowboy Day, today was Halloween Costume day and tomorrow is wear red shirt with jeans.
Here is my door for the door decorating contest. It was inspired by Pinterest, of course!

The theme was, "Drugs are Corny"

This is my "special chair" The Memphis Tiger (well kinda)
This is a fun class graph that we did to graph the boys and girls in our class.

My room, well a part of it at least

My fave chair!

Well, that is it for now! I have been super busy crafting for over a month now. Just taking the time to post and get set up is taking forever. I have an after school job and even took on another side job working at the Briarcrest football game a few Friday nights. This is all killing me, with the stress of life itself, work, volunteering at basketball games at school, Houston's soccer games, paperwork and did I say stress?

Straight A's Baby! Talk about a proud mama!

Houston made Principal List for the 1st nine weeks grading period! Talk about a proud mama. He was pretty excited too. He said, "Mommy, I worked really hard and tried my very best". I know he is only in First Grade, but this child LOVES school to death, which makes me so happy!

Straight A's Baby
He got his report card last week so, we headed to Incredible Pizza to celebrate for good grades and he won this loot, plus had tons of tickets left over

Houston also enjoyed riding Go Carts with daddy

Here he is with his straight A report card

What type of celebrations or motivations do you do to encourage or motivate your child?

A Little Fall Fun

This year we have already been to so many fall harvest parties, carnivals, hayrides, get togethers and festivals. Next weekend we hve a full weeekend planned as well!

Last weekend we had a little fun with friends a little early

My mom even met up with us!

Love these 2 boys!

I love this time of year. On this particular day, the weather was warm. It is crazy how teh weather changes from day to day in TN.

It's Fall! And a little bit of crafting too!

So it is officially fall around my house. I just love the cooler temps, hayrides, bonfires and decor. I have found many Pinterest fall ideas, so the past month, I have been creating them slowly. Now I am ready to show them off!

My mantle with my Boo pumpkin idea courtesy of Pinterst and my subway art also printed from Pinterest. *Notice my frame with the subway art and our spring family portrait. Melissa and I hit up some garage sales and another weekend we hit up Goodwill. I got these frames for $1 each. Are you serious? yes maam! One still had the wrapper on it! Love some thrifting!!!

Just a few more days!

This is the sweet parent volunteer to my classroom, "grandma Sheila". My kids love her and so do all of the other Kindergartners. Her granddaughter was in my class last year and she was involved so much, but this year she has came back to help volunteer in my room again. I just love her and she is the sweetest friend!

I helped give her daughter in law a baby shower last week for a small group of friends. It is her 3rd child, but she has nothing left over from the 1st two babies.

This was the desert table. All of the food was set up on the other side of the room. Check out the banner I made on my cricut for baby Autumn! The balloons totally got cut out of the picture.
Here are 4 generations of this sweet sweet family!

I researched baby shower games to play and we were quite the entertainment. We had so much fun! Anyway, baby Autumn will be here in a few days! Her due date got moved from November to the end of October! yay!

Surprise!

This weekend we celebrated my brother-in-laws 30th birthday. My sister had a surprise party with about 35 people that attended. It was quite the night if you know my sister.

Here is the birthday boy and Houston with his giant TV remote control

This was after everyone left. We were exhausted!

We had such a busy weekend with fall parties, festivals, celebrations and Fall Break. Yesterday I wore shorts and a t-shirt and this afternoon the temperature was 47 degrees. What the heck? I am so ready for more bonfires and hayrides! How about you?
