Black Friday Fun

I just remembered I never posted about our Black Friday Night Out of Fun. Our week has been chaotic with Tim being in the hospital, phone calls, texts, emails, messages, and friends coming over with food the past few days since we have been home. Thank you for your prayers, Tim is trying to adjust being at home. His eyesight is still weak, but is trying to come back. He had a few days where he has had a headache and was dizzy, but his eyes seem to be trying to adjust.

Anyway, on Thanksgiving night we hit the town at about 8:30pm. We drove past WalMart and saw the made chaos so we kept going until we hit up Old Navy. We got in line and were the top 10 in line. Around 10:00 pm, people started showing up like crazy and our little line went from 7 families in line to about 250. It was crazy! Everyone was there to get the free underwater camera. The manager kept coming out and giving us all hit cocoa and checking to see if anyone had to go to the restroom or needed anything. Every time I would go in with Houston, I would scope out the aisles to see where to go first. Around 11:45, the manager came and handed out wristbands to the first 50 people who had been waiting in line. There was a lady who had cut in line to "talk to friends" and a lady in front of us confronted her and they got into it. She did a little not so nice name calling and the manager made her go to the back of the line. Once it hit 12:00am, we all ran into the store screaming at the top of our lungs. It was absolutely hilarious!
We had to bring Houston with us this year, b/c we could not find anyone to keep him, so he was already warned that it may be scary to STAY with daddy. He was really good and excited about the whole thing.

Here he is waiting patiently with daddy to go in

Here I am camped out in the front of the line

It was starting to get longer

And here is our loot! We got all of this for under $100. The cameras are valued at over $100 a piece and we got 2, plus Houston some school pants, scarves, vests and socks too. We also hot Wal Mart up for a while and got some more good deals. This is a yearly tradition for Tim and I and we always have so much fun doing it!

The Cameras!
