My little blessing

I am so proud to be a mommy right now! Houston and I have been talking alot lately about his relationship with the Lord and about Heaven. Yesterday I was subbing in his Sunday School class and his friend Rileigh was saying she recently asked Jesus to come into her heart. On the way home from church, he started asking me about it and he told me "tonight, when I say my prayers, I want to ask Jesus to come into my heart". I said awesome, I was excited, but kinda nervous since he is still so young. Last night, we read a story and saaid our prayers, then, he asked me, "mommy, will you say it with me?" I said "what", he said "I want Jesus to come into my heart." We talked about the plan of salvation, about Jesus dying on the cross to forgive us for our sins, and about how we are all sinners. He said a prayer and told Jesus, he wanted him to come live with him in his heart and how he was happy to be going to Heaven one day! I was so excited and so proud of my little boy! This is an awesome blessing and as I sit here and type this, I almost have tears in my eyes. He woke up this morning and was so proud. He wanted to call his mimi and tell her all about it. (They have an awesome relationship with the Lord, ever since he was a baby, mom has kept him on Thursdays and they always talk about Jesus, read Bible stories and pray. ha ha- One day mimi was telling him about going to Heaven, and he said, "wait a minute, I can't go to Heaven yet mimi, I need to go home and get my toys and pup lovey" (he was 2 years old). This child is the love of my life! Please pray for him and his relationship with the Lord. I pray that he grows spiritually with the Lord and is a witness to others.
