Dr. Jean

That's right! I went to the "I Teach K" conference in Franklin TN this week and she was the keynote speaker. I also went to 3 of her sessions for the day on yesterday. She was so sweet! She sat at our table, visited with us, and was so sweet. She even shared one of me and my co-workers ideas in front everyone there. Amazing lady that is full of energy too.
This year have been so blessed and fortunate to have met 2 wonderful educational leaders. I met Harry Wong this summer at the Model Schools Conference (7,000 educators) and now Dr. Jean Feldman at the I Teach K conference (500 K teachers). I have always looked up to her and enjoyed using/implementing her ideas and music into my classroom. She recently came out with a new CD, which my coworker purchased and it has some good songs/moves. It is about building better bodies and it will keep your students moving! haha
Well I just got in after a 3 hour trip home and I am exhausted, but I met some amazing new friends and learned some fabulous ideas that I plan on implementing in my Kindergarten classroom asap.

I will have to do another post of our adventures while we were there later.
