fabulous day/egg hunt/Happy early Easter

Hey everyone!

I have been busy busy busy lately, but I wanted to blog about my fabulous day!

So, today I woke up and put on my jeans (we got to wear jeans today for TCAP spirit week). Well, I was walking around the house and they kept falling down and I was stepping on the bottom of the pants leg. So, I went to my spare bedroom and pulled out my PRE-PREGNANCY jeans and guess what???????? They fit!! I was so excited. Those were my fav jeans from Old Navy before I got pregnant and I have finally lost enough weight to fit into those again. I know it is no biggie to you all, but I am telling you, it was an awesome feeling to know all the hard work had paid off. Houston is 4 years old, so I thought it would never come down, but slowly but surely, it is.

We had our Easter egg hunt at school today too. It was fun. The weather was awesome and the kids had so much fun. We also had a pep rally at school to get everyone pepped up for the TCAP next week. My class did a TCAP cheer and did so good. I was so proud of them. The other K class didn't know their song, so all you could hear was the teacher and the other teacher didn't come up with one. All the grade levels really did good though, It was really cute to watch everyone get excited about the big test.

On the way to the tanning bed, Houston was telling me about his party and about all the eggs he found. He even found a money egg! He made the comment, "I had a bad day this afternoon though" I asked what in the world is that all about? I thought you had fun. He explained that his buddy Martin hit him with his backpack and hurt his feelings. I explained to him that sometimes friends may make you sad, or it could have been an accident. He was getting kinda emotional, I guess it is just a phase he is going through. On the way to the egg hunt last Saturday. He and his friend Gabbie were in the back seat talking. She asked if he had a girlfriend. He told her nope! I am gonna live with mommy 4 ever. I asked what about finding a g/f and he said, no, mommy, I just love you to Jesus and back and I want to stay with you forever. I could just eat that boy up, I love him so much!!!!

He has been playing Tball for a few weeks and we have practice tonight. He had so much fun at his last practice, he kept asking when was it time to leave and hour before time. He is so exhausted today though from all the festivities at school. I was going to take him to get his hair cut after school, but he fell asleep in the car, so we came home to relax for a bit and meet up with Tim.

Sorry, I am just jumping around about everything but I haven't blogged in a while!

Holly, my sister is getting married this weekend. Congrats Holly and Steve! The wedding is outside and they are calling for rain Saturday. Please pray everything works out ok. I have to go get Houston's tux tomorrow, he is the ringbearer and I can't wait to get pics~!
