Sweet Surprise!

This special lady came to school Friday and surprised me a with a birthday party for me to celebrate with my class! She brought food, candy, chips, sandwiches, drinks, balloons, and a cake. The state wide TCAP test is this week on my birthday and she knew school could not be interupted due to the preparation and stress of the test. She also got me a new fold-up Memphis Tigers chair to take to Houston's T-ball games.

Please excuse the room. My walls and photos are covered due to the state test next week. I hate how dark and dreary it looks, but at least I get to take everything down Friday!

We have teh best parent volunteers at our school. One of our parent vounteers also cooked out for all the staff on Friday. He cooked, grilled chicken and smoked sausage. He had potato salad too. It was delicious!

It was such a great day! I even did my weekly weigh in and currently I am at my lowest weight since my weight loss journey began. I finally hit 60 pounds! Whoo Hooo!
