So, you know I have been trying to be more crafty this summer. A friend gave Houston this old wooden school desk. This thing is seriously probably 20 years old. It was NASTY and covered in spiderwebs and dust. We had to wash it twice. Then Houston thought it should be blue. I added some dots and his name and we painted the top with chalkboard paint. Now Houston can sit here and do his homework in the afternoons and not need scratch paper.
He LOVES it!
Notice he already has the under storage full :)
Only problem is, I am not crazy about it being in our living room. It might be moving to the playroom in a day or two. The good thing is, he loves school so far and comes straight in and sits here to do his homework.
