Can we say OWWWWW???? I just did another workout with Jillian Micheals' with the SHRED and I feel like my arms are about to fall off. HELP!!! Seriously, she is all about toning up some arms.
Have any of you ever done or actually completed the Shred? Any helpful hints to help me get through it?
My problem is, I do it and then give up after half way through.
Love her workouts.. love to feel the burn.. unfortunately.. I only make it about a week because then the weekend comes and I find much better things to do. Not really.. but I will do anything to get out of a workout! haha.. Good luck though and if you find out any secrets.. let me know.. I am going to be starting it again Feb 15th. Cute Blog.. btw.. came across it yesterday and loved reading it.
ReplyDeleteJust keep doing it! I did the same thing last year, and would give up, but then I would promise myself that the next day I would make it a little farther. Eventually, I was doing it every day, somewhat easily.

I agree with Liz. I did the shred several times and if you can even go just one more minute the next day, and the next day, and so on, it will be easier on your body and you will feel better knowing you completed it! It's like what the P90x guy says, "do your best, and forget the rest."

I also did the Shred last Spring. I did enjoy it . . . because when I feel the burn that's when I know it's working. Anyway, try doing the workout without weights for awhile. It took me a long time to move to level 2. In fact I believe I started out just doing it a couple of days in the week.
