On this day we spent shopping over in Fort Walton, then crab hunting over by Crab Island under the bridge. We discovered all these people over there with nets full of Hermit Crabs. We went and came back with a bucket full too. It was so fun watching Houston and Tim spend time together doing something fun while I was relaxing in my beach chair. haha While we were there, we saw a hobo under the bridge. He lived under the bridge with his bicycle and beach towel. It was kinda scary seeing him hanging out and sleeping with his beer cans while dozens of kids ran around playing. We came back other days and he was there every time. We even saw him riding his bike one night by HarborWalk.

After our crab adventures, we headed back to the pool for some pool time.

Later that afternoon, we went to the Harbor and loaded on the Seablaster for a Dolphin Cruise. We have been riding this speedboat for the past 15 years. It is one of the world's largest speedboats and has all the free beer, wine and sodas you could ask for. The kids get to captain the boat and it is just a good family spot for entertainment. And of course, we saw plenty of Dolphins as well!

After we left the Harbor, we headed to the Bay area at Calhoun Park and had a picnic on the bay. It was absolutely amazing! I can't believe we have never done this before. We hunted for crabs once again and watched the sun set over the bay.

Then we headed to the beach to watch the weekly fireworks they shoot off during the summer. We set up a picnic blanket, played frisbee and tossed the football while we were waiting for the fireworks to begin.

This was such a memorable day. We had the best time on our beach trip this year!
