I will be MIA this next week. I am off for another trip back to the beach. This time, we are renting a house in Gulf Shores. There are 18 of us going and I am so excited! I have not been to Gulf Shores since I was a child, so I can't wait to see how much it has changed. Does anybody have any good recommendations of what to do in Gulf Shores, Alabama? If I can't find anything to do, I know we will enjoy relaxing at the beach! Ahhh, leaving in a few hours~ Have a great weekend and I hope everyone is enjoying your summer!
We always go to Fort Morgan- which is 20 miles from Gulf Shores but we have to go to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach to eat or do anything. (Fort Morgan is quiet and doesnt have all the lively atmosphere!!)
ReplyDeleteOur favorite places to eat are: Lulu's (the wait time will be long if you go out peak hours- we always go late afternoon. The Oyster House, The Shrimp Basket, Lamberts (in Foley about 15 miles away)
The Hangout is a fun, family place.
Foley Outlet Mall is about 15 miles away.
The Blue Angels are stationed in Pensacola (about 30 miles away) and you can go watch their practice shows for free and even meet the pilots on certain days. Check the website.. they only practice at certain times.
They have a waterpark but we have never been.
They have several putt putt golf places and a go-cart place for kids.
If you are going with just adults and you like to party the Flora-Bama bar is there..
We don't do much when we go but hang out on the beach and eat out. But we go every summer. We were there the first week in June and I wish I was back!!
