We took our yearly beach trip to Destin, Florida on Saturday June 18th. We loaded the car and hit the road for 8 hours~! It was so ironic that we stopped at a Murphy's gas station in West Point Mississippi and ran into our next door neighbors Regina and Todd. Crazy huh? They had been in Destin and were returning home. Every time we go to the beach we always see someone we know. Isn't that weird? You are 500 miles from home and you see hundreds of people from your city.
We got closer to Florida and Houston just had to stop and get some food. We grabbed a Little Caesars pizza and took off! I was so anxious to hit the beach because I was the one doing the driving. Tim had worked many long hours the day before and was exhausted. He drove for 2 hours and I drove the rest of the trip down so he could catch up on some rest.
So finally, 8 hours later, we are HERE!!!!!

We walked on the beach for a few hours, played on the beach, went and got groceries and hit the sack! We were in paradise for a week!
